Just who is Greg Andrews?
What can you
say about a legend? Here is a musician who, as a teen snuck out of
his house in the evenings to make his way to the seedy, smoky music
haunts of the city just to get a chance to jam with some seasoned (
well, pickled) music pros. After gaining some confidence and a few
pitchers, he proved himself to get in some early
bands.
After being in
college to avoid lying in a rice paddy as fish bait, he heard the
call to be a full-time musician, since he didn’t have the money for
the medications to stop the voices, he followed his call and did
extensive traveling around the country with some bands. This helped
him greatly to gain exposure (that’s another story) and to stay one
step ahead of the I.R.S.
He is now back
in Rochester to dazzle you in Synergy and put his foot in your
bootygroove. But don’t tell his mother, she thinks he’s selling
insurance.
